Our Guiding Principles
Our business strives to…
…make the world a better place, both through the work we do, and with the profits we earn.
…infuse a sense of curiosity, exploration, and fun into everything we do.
…continually learn and develop our skills and expertise, so we can better serve our clients.
…apply good design aesthetic into our work, because details matter, and although beauty isn’t everything, it makes everything better.
…work in a spirit of partnership with our teammates, clients, and business partners to make amazing things happen together. We know that helpfulness produces better outcomes than internal competition, so taking a cue from the world of improv, not only do we strive to make our clients look good, we strive to make our teammates and business partners look good, too.
Our business refuses to…
…take a job just to make a buck. If it isn’t a net gain for the world, we won’t do it.
…be boring or conventional. As Emma Goldman said, “If I can’t dance to it (or do improv, or play with LEGO®, or doodle), it’s not my revolution.” (Well, she said the dance part, at least.)
…stagnate or coast, or rest on our laurels. It may feel comfortable for the short term, but we’re more interested in long-term transformation than short-term comfort.
…settle for ugly in anything. Aesthetics are important to us. And good design = good business.
…work with people who do not treat us, or anyone else, with courtesy and respect, the way you would a valued teammate.
